From Gary
Hi folks. It’s that
time of
year to clean up the garden and prepare for the
inevitable winter. A
few tomatoes are slowly ripening and we’re still getting
the odd
strawberry and raspberry. The odd eggplant and some
broccoli still.
Peppers are doing good. Hopefully we can protect them
from frost for
awhile yet. We eat the pepper leaves instead of buying
lettuce and
spinach while we can. The only root crop is carrots and
they are
doing great. That’s it for this week. Take care and stay
safe
everyone.

From Carol
I really enjoyed
reading last
week’s newsletter but was too sick to respond. It was
just my usual
regular morning issue of not keeping anything down but
instead of
just a bad morning it went on for days being sick
hourly. I am back
to normal now but we canceled Thanksgiving dinner.
Vivienne was also
sick with a bad cold but worse, Duncan’s fiancée’s
mother and
sisters were in a bad car accident so Duncan and Nella
were up at the
hospital with them. Everyone is in some stage of
recovery. We are
still grateful, the accident could have been even worse,
I could have
ended up in emergency, if Al had his way. Viv may have
been sick but
she seems to be in better control of her Type 1
diabetes.
I am still picking
fresh
tomatoes, Beth’s garden has done well this year,
including
pumpkins. The weather is turning colder but we can
afford to pay for
heat. I have a supportive, loving family. Doug continues
doing the
Squid. We may have canceled the turkey feast but not the
reason
behind the day, we all have something we can be grateful
for.

From Doug
I don’t have much
to talk
about this week. Actually, I don’t have anything I can
talk about.
I’m often on an emotional roller coaster rendering
creativity
inoperative. I do however have another recording for
you.
Here’s
another
of the songs we have recently recorded. It’s a Bob
Dylon
song. Hope you like it.
