A warm sunny ride up into some active logging. This is called selective logging as opposed to clear cutting. The only difference is that they leave a few trees standing.
The idea behind the standing trees is that they will produce seeds for re-generating the forest.
These logs are very straight and long.
I kind of like the sun's rays effects in this shot.
Interesting but ugly!
