Earthday 2007, Squamish Style !
April 22/07, Earthday in Squamish. So they held a weird little outdoor party down at the waterfront on land that will be developed into walking paths, rec facilities and other user friendly things. Warren and I were invited to play for the event as they needed an opening act so they could get the bugs ironed out of the sound system ;) Since we only had 2 days notice we decided to bring along our jamming buddy Neil. That's him in the middle. So here we are, Doug on base, Neil on 6-string and Warren on 12-string guitar.
Some of our material has base guitar in it, some has mandolin.
Warren belts out a tune.
My turn to belt out a song. Can't believe how old I look !!
Here we are doing our rendition of The Orange Blossom Special. That's Neil's grandson Joey with his train whistle. He puts in the special sound effects for us.
Ironically, the 'stage' is the equipment float from the company I work for.
