Nov. 27/04

A clear sunny day. Mild in the valleys. Ryan and I decided to take a bike toot up the Indian Arm Pass to see how far we could get before 'winter' turned us back. We made it to about the 1800 ft level where we decided the snow and ice would make continuing a problem. Working our way uphill is easy, down is hard and the grades are very steep.

That is Ryan's '86 Yamaha parked in front of my '86 Honda. Behind the bikes the mountian side drops off steeply into a river canyon.

These valleys and canyons are steep, the sun can't shine directly down into them at this time of the year. Those other tracks are from 4x4s.

Sky Pilot Mt is above us, there are spectacular cliffs up ahead.
